Reizelds Reflection for the Zambales ICARE site :D

This was my second time going to Zambales for ICARE. For me I thought last year was amazing, but this year is was similar but different as well. The reason it was different was because there were new people, but the most important was that they were people I rarely spoke to. I got to meet new people in the sense that they were people I didn't really know, but whom I knew of.Zambales this year was the best ICARE to end my senior year in ISM. Being able to get closer to my class as well as…See More

JinBae's hauntingly beautiful reflection.

ICARE Zambales was awesome. It was definitely a good ending to my ICARE experience in high school. The ICARE program provided me experiences - in all honesty - that I would have never been exposed to in my life. Primarily, ICARE program allows students to go outside of their usual community with a random group of other students, away from all the practicality of a school life. In this sense, it has been somewhat more beneficial to me than anything else. Being able to get away with everything…See More

Murat's WAY overdue but sexy reflection

I truly believe that this ICARE was the one which I will remember most clearly. (Although concert tour was close.. maybe its just because its the most recent.. Well the reason WHY doesn't matter) Judging from what other people commented on about their ICARES, I was very happy to have been a part of ICARE Zambales!!! Even if the work was tough and the mornings slapped you in the face, overall it was a great experience.GoodIn my opinion, almost everything in this ICARE was amazing. Digging,…See More

THE MOST REFLECTIVE REFLECTIONS EVAR, courtesy of maggie

I've only done two ICARES at ISM, but Zambales was definitely the best. It was certainly the most productive- when I heard the outline of our activities for the first time I thought for a minute our group was staying for an extra day or something. My Baguio site’s schedule in general included a lot less manual labor and a lot more naptime, and I think that in the end that’s why I didn’t enjoy it as much as I did Zambales. At Zambales we scheduled every day to capacity, and made the most of our… Continue

Anthony's ICARE Reflection, Have Fun Reading :P

When I think about ICARE, I remember “Luceat Lux”- “Let your light Shine” in Latin. Yes, Christmas is near and “shiny” is quality to look out for. However, more than the shininess of that gadget or ring, what of the shining of our hearts? This is what I saw in 2008 ICare Zambales. My first year at ISM and my first ICare has opened some new perspectives in the field of constructive volunteerism; ICare not only gave me the opportunity to reach-out and touch the lives of others once again, but… Continue
